Legacy.

That’s a pretty heavy word right there. I’ve been thinking about what my legacy will be ever since attending the Making Things Happen Conference. After some serious soul-searching, I realized that my legacy was so much more than my handing off my recipe box to my daughter, bigger than leaving behind a hefty financial portfolio, bigger than remaining a household name after I’m gone. It’s about leaving behind sweet memories of love, joy, generosity, and a heart for Christ. Then, I got caught up in trying to reach all of these materialistic goals and lost sight my true goals. That’s why I’m so thankful that Stephanie of Stephanie Scholl Events reached out to me about collaborating on this styled shoot with Blue Barn Photography that was inspired by both her and Rachel’s grandmothers – women who left lasting impressions and sweet memories.
