It feels like we’ve gone through the looking glass doesn’t it? Nothing is normal anymore. It has me reminiscing on the Mims House Grand Opening. The theme was based around Alice in Wonderland, a story filled to the brim with the out-of-the-ordinary.
Every detail reflected the story. The cake had a tea cup and floral topper, with little edible mushrooms and photographs from the story. Every room had a different theme – carrots for the White Rabbit, ferns for the forest, a greenery chess board, Flamingos and of course a top hat. Even the food was on theme with little Drink Me potions and Eat Me cookies. The theme was perfectly executed throughout the entire house and grounds.
If you haven’t checked out The Mims House, you should schedule a tour. It is perfect for every type of wedding – from elopements, to intimate celebrations, to large guest counts (once social distancing is a thing of the past).
