Irene + Chris | The Bridge Club, Raleigh, NC

In case you haven’t figured it out by now, I love weddings. I love what they represent – the joining of two hearts, two souls, two families. I love the little details that are special to the bride and groom. I love the traditional weddings, the quirky ones, the super modern ones. I love them all. But I especially love the ones that allow me to step outside of my cake-designer comfort zone and create something special. Thank you Chris and Irene for allowing me to do just that.

When I met Irene and Chris, I knew that they would have a truly gorgeous wedding. They have such bright personalities and an awesome sense of style (Chris’ suit was wine-colored and Irene wore a blush wedding dress *swoons*). Plus, with Nicole as their wedding planner, I knew it was going to be pretty spectacular.

Doesn’t their wedding cake look like a sunset? It completely matches the flowers by Serendipity Designs. I love how Irene and Chris incorporated their love of vibrant colors into their wedding.
