And our collaboration with Two Roosters Ice Cream in Raleigh takes this winning combo to the next level. We are so pleased to announce one of their newest flavors (for a very limited time!): Rum Cake + Orange Curd. You might be asking how the Rum Cake + Orange Curd flavor came about. Since my roots are in the Bahamas, something fruity and tropical was the first place that my mind went. So, the Rum Cake + Orange Curd flavor is inspired by the iconic Bahamian drink: the Goombay Smash. Created in the 1960’s, the Goombay smash recipe calls for pineapple juice, orange juice and rum. Our Rum Cake + Orange Curd ice cream is an even dreamier version of that with rum cake pieces, homemade orange curd and coconut and pineapple flavor in every bite!
