Serenity and Rose Quartz Wedding Inspiration | The Glassbox at 230, Raleigh, NC

I have to admit that I first I wasn’t the biggest fan of Pantone’s color of the year – Serenity and Rose Quartz. Initially, I felt that they were a little childish and not sophisticated enough, but boy was I wrong. There is something so cool and sophisticated about the colors – especially when they’re paired together. That’s why I was so excited when I saw the inspiration board and color palette for this styled shoot with some of my favorite vendors. Styled by Lexi of Glitter, Inc. and shot by Mikkel Paige, this shoot incorporated pops of goldenrod and purple as a juxtaposition to the softness of the blue and pink. We hoped that this shoot would be inspiring to DIY brides.

For this shoot, we designed a square cake with triangles of various colors and metals – gold, silver, rose quartz, serenity, goldenrod and fuchsia – all on a white background. It is one of my absolute favorite cakes because it is just so fun!
