Woot woot! Summer is officially here, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Aside from longer days, barbecues and beach trips, the summer is ripe with some of my favorite flavors. I’ve taken a few delicious recipes and created a summer cupcake menu that I’m pretty excited about.
First up is the Key West cupcake. This treat is made of vanilla cake, filled with key lime curd, and topped with key lime buttercream and graham cracker crumbs. This cupcake the perfect followup to a dinner with friends on a summer night and fans of Key Lime pie will love it.
Since it was such a hit last summer, I felt it was only right to bring back the Raspberry Lemonade cupcake. This refreshingly delicious creation is made with lemon cake and raspberry buttercream. It’s perfect for summer tea parties, birthday parties and showers.
And now for the “cherry on top”. The Black Cherry Chocolate cupcake is vanilla bean cake topped with black cherry buttercream, and garnished with a chocolate-covered cherry. This cupcake is the perfect date night, anniversary or “I’m sorry” treat.
These new flavors will only be around for the summer, so enjoy them while you can!
